Time~Enemy and Friend

As time goes on, I realize Time is one of the ways God helps us heal. Though, It feels like my enemy and my friend at the same time. Time demands my memories are in the past, but it also declares God's faithfulness to HEAL THE BROKEN HEARTS, Psalm 147:3. He is our EVER PRESENT HELP! Psalm 46:1 As time goes on, I have to scroll farther and farther back to see my beloved photos of Jeffrey... Oh My heart. How I miss you my precious Son. But God, so lovingly reminds me of all the ways He has held me this year. And He is so faithful to remind me of the hope of eternity. The Lord gave me this poem, I turned into a prayer, a couple weeks ago. I feel like its a poem of faith, not that my wounds are healed with a scar yet, but I feel God healing my heart. And I'm so thankful that I have God's Word to tell me that He WILL heal my broken heart, in His time. I think sometimes we want the pain, because it feels like an expression of our love. But God says He will heal me. And we don't have to hold on to the pain, we can let God bind up our brokenness with His perfect Love. It's the power of the gospel...It's the power of Christ in me. Thank you Jesus that you have Jeffrey with you. God, You are so good!
